SAINT CLARE’S FOUNDATION ELECTS NEW TRUSTEES
DENVILLE, NJ — February
9, 2007 — Saint Clare’s Foundation,
the fundraising arm of Saint Clare’s Health System, has elected
two new members to its board of trustees: John T. Fenton, president
and chief executive officer of Affinity Federal Credit Union; and
Susan B. Banks, owner of Faith & Begorra in Denville, N.J.
“Both of our new trustees bring special skills and experience
that will enhance the work of the board,” said Joseph Vitale,
Chief Executive Officer of Saint Clare’s Foundation. “John
Fenton brings a proven acumen in financial affairs. Susan Banks adds
the prospective of the small- and moderate-size business owner as
well as the dedication of a long-time hospital volunteer.”
Before joining Affinity in 1995, Mr. Fenton was President and Chief
Executive Officer of Synergy Federal Credit Union. He holds a B.A.
in business administration from the University of Steubenville, Ohio,
and an M.A. in finance from Long Island University. He lives in Tewksbury,
N.J. with his wife, Fran, and two daughters.
Mrs.
Banks is a graduate of County College of Morris with a degree in
business. She is past president of the Denville Area Chamber of Commerce,
a Valley National Business Woman of the Year, a Denville Chamber
of Commerce Business Person of the Year, and executive secretary
of the North American Celtic Buyers Association. Her father, William
F. Barnish, was a founding member of Saint Clare’s Foundation.
She lives in Denville, N.J. with her husband, Dennis.
